ABO and Rh distribution

Blood group A is associated with high frequencies in Europe, especially in Scandinavia and Central Europer. The A allele apparently was absent among Central and South American Indians.Blood group B has its highest frequency in Northern India and neighboring Central Asia, and its incidence diminishes both towards the west and the east, falling to single digit percentages in Spain, and lowest among the indigenous peoples of the Americas and Australia. The lowest frequency of O is found in Eastern Europe and Central Asia,it is particularly high in frequency among the indigenous populations of Central and South America, where it approaches 100%. It also is relatively high among Australian Aborigines and in Western Europe.The O blood type is very common around the world.
